Spurs forward Tim Duncan is a smart player. So smart that when he saw Clippers forward Blake Griffin getting ready to throw down a crazy dunk last night, he knew exactly what to do. But he didn't step in front of Griffin to try and draw a charge. He also didn't try to strip the ball away from him. So what did he do then? He got the #@%$ out of the way and let Griffin throw down the dunk! Because at 37, Duncan is smart enough to know that he doesn't want to end up on a poster at this point in his career.
Good thinking, right? Yeah, good thinking.
