There was a ton of negative talk coming Tim Duncan's way up until tonight. Duncan was sporting career-lows in nearly every statistical category from Field Goal Percentage to PER. Duncan turned back the clock tonight with a signature performance that might help give him a boost and some momentum for the regular season.
Duncan became the oldest player in NBA history to notch a 20-20 (23 points, 21 rebounds) and he capped it off with a game-winner to lift the Spurs over the Hawks Monday night, 102-100. Duncan looked like a guard when he curled off of a screen into his midrange jumper with 00.4 seconds left in the game to power San Antonio to a tough win.
