Late in the third quarter of today's Eagles/Chargers game, Malcom Floyd was hit hard with what appeared to be a forearm to the head by DeMeco Ryans. Following the contact, Floyd remained motionless for several minutes and needed to be taken off the field on a stretcher. An absolutely scary scene, but luckily, we can now report that the San Diego receiver has feeling in his limbs and is coherent. He was taken to a nearby hospital with what is being referred to as a neck injury.
We wish Malcom a speedy recovery.
