To all those people who are afraid of getting in planes for travel: stop being such pansies and get in the window seat. We're talking to you, Royce White. The past year, according to Dutch company Aviation Safety Network, was the safest in the air since 1945. There were only a total of 23 fatal airliner accidents, which is much lower than the 34 average. Of those 23 accidents, five came in African countries and four came in Russia.
