Ray Lewis, Baltimore Ravens

Where: Super Bowl XXXIV, Atlanta (2000)
Incident: Lewis may not have played on either team in the Super Bowl, but the linebacker still found trouble after being involved in a brawl that resulted in the death of two men.
Result: Lewis ended up being acquitted of murder charges, but did plead guilty to a misdemeanor obstruction-of-justice charge. Then again, a year on probation beats life in jail every time. Winning the very next Super Bowl and being named MVP doesn't hurt either.
