Let's get the stuff that's not fun out of the way first. The SLS AMG GT3 based road-legal car will not be coming to the USA due to crash test regulations and money. Also, the SLS AMG E-Cell might also be confined to Europe for the same reasons.
On the brighter side Tobias Moers, mad scientist extraordinaire Head of Vehicle Development at AMG said "we absolutely have to do a black series" regarding the SLS AMG. The only issue with the SLS AMG is that some people might want more performance from it. It is a fantastic tourer, but it can't quite stand up to the Italian competition. A Black Edition will no doubt have more power, less weight, tighter handling, and cost many more dollars. Except for that last bit it sounds awesome.
