How much do you know about Jaguar? If your knowledge of the storied British automaker starts with the introduction of the S-Type, you really don't know much. Though thought of as a luxury company that focuses more on cruising and comfort, Jaguar is just as well known for its automotive performance legacy. The XK-R coupe was proof of that, with its Aston Martin-like speed. The legacy continues on with the XF-R. Even though Jaguar already has a fast supercharged version of its mid-sized sedan, the company that was recently purchased by Indian conglomerate Tata thought it wise to up the ante and prove that it should be once again discussed along with BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
