Pharrell Williams x Adidas Tennis Hu 'Multicolor'

These were sitting on my desk with a note from Pharrell's camp at Adidas that simply read, "More hues." More hues might be a bit of an understatement. Unlike the first drop of the Adidas Tennis Hu that were a bit subtle in white with pops of green or yellow, the latest set took it to the other end of the spectrum with a multicolor version. This is my favorite colorway of the Tennis Hu so far, and I'll probably be saving these to wear at Complex Con in November (Shameless plug).

ZoomX is finally here. I've been waiting for this shoe for some time now, and am happy to see it finally in stores. The silhouette is one of the more interesting ones from Nike in recent years, even if it's not the best runner for me from a performance standpoint. (More on that soon.)
Air Jordan 2 Decon 'Sail'

Updated takes on retro models so often miss the mark that it was refreshing to see one that actually worked in the Decon editions of the Air Jordan 2. I wouldn't say I prefer this low-profile variation on the second sneaker from MJ's signature line to the original, but I think it stands on its own as a respectable alternative to one of the most underrated models in Jordan history.
Nike Air Max 1 'Paris'

Nike showed love to the ladies (or at least some of them) with a very limited "Paris" Air Max 1 last month. Only 75 total pairs were released in Paris, so you probably weren't able to get your hands on this sneaker, but the luxe materials and well-executed mini Swoosh on the toe have us hoping for a similarly styled (and more widely available) follow-up.
Big Baller Brand ZO2 'Independence Day' Pack

In a time when many are losing faith in our country, LaVar Ball is the hero we need. Kudos to Big Baller Brand’s surprise launch of Lonzo Ball’s first sneaker in the three signature flavors of the American dream. And since these aren’t expected to ship until November, we already know what IG post to expect from all Big Ballers next 4th of July.
Nike Flyknit Trainer

I've been semi-patiently waiting for the return of the Flyknit Trainer for years. Although the Racer is a great sneaker, the Trainer, to me, is the better of Nike's first two Flyknit sneakers—and it's not even close. As time dragged on, I took my frustration to Twitter and begged for its return. Finally, here we are, yet the return of the "White/Black" colorway is bittersweet. I copped the OG on day one and it became one of my favorite sneakers of all-time. Unfortunately, Kanye kind of ruined that for me when he pressed the 'Ye button on it and it became a "thing." Still, it's a great sneaker and a great colorway, and I can't complain about getting something that I've been asking for for all these years.
