Everyone heard the stories once the baseball card bubble broke — that guy who spent hundreds of dollars buying up thousands of cards of a "can't miss" prospect like Wally Joyner or Gregg Jefferies, only to be stuck with the whole lot once the can't miss guy did exactly that. Welp, this could be the sneaker equivalent. Reselling is easy as long as you stick to shoes that are both rare AND desirable. In fact, rare isn't even a prerequisite as long as they're hot. There are dangers inherent in this system — like, when you buy nearly a full size run of Jeremy Lin Nike Air Force 1s only to see the Knicks' point guard of the future sign a new deal... with the Rockets. Good luck with that.
