Nike launched the Nike Lunar Force 1 late last year as a revamped and updated version of one of the most classic sneakers of all time. Of course, the Nike Air Force 1 has had a number of great colorways over the years, but we couldn't help but think about the colorways that would translate well onto the new Nike Lunar Force 1. Original Air Force 1 Released: 2005

Making a bulky basketball sneaker like the Air Force 1 look elegant isn't the simplest task, but the all-over lasered Ueno version was just that. Hardly anything is lost in the transfer to Lunar.

Stash's palette of greys and blues has found its way onto quite a few silhouettes over the years, but perhaps none took to it better than the AF1 low. An even more exclusive drop with Futura lasering on the heel would be a bonus.

So what if you've got an XBox? The Playstation Air Force 1s retain grail status even amongst those who haven't played a video game since the local pizzeria got rid of their Donkey Kong machine.

Ostrich and shiny patent? On the same sneaker? Japan's mita sneakers was on that way back in 2004 when most outlandish Air Force 1 schemes were appearing on BAPEs. You're not gonna find these options on NIKEiD.

When these first dropped, the Linen/Atmosphere lows gave sneakerheads everywhere a new appreciation of pink. They also gave sneakerheads fits as they tried to find Japanese connects.

Sometimes simple is best. The "Courir" Air Force 1s, with their black upper and crystal-clear bottom, were perfection - and only released in France. Give everyone else a chance.

We'll keep it simple: It's about to be the Year of the Snake, and the "Cocoa Snake" Air Force 1s were one of the best ever. This isn't rocket science.

Blue and grey have gone together since Hoya Paranoia ran the Big East, and probably before that - word to New Balance. Japan's atmos flipped it lovely on these Forces from 2001, and after a dozen years it's time for a lightweight re-up.

Lux without the lux pricetag, the Acorn AF1 lows combined rough canvas with buttery leather in a shoe made for the tropics. B-Grades of these flooded outlets back in 2002 - it's doubtful that would ever happen now.

DJ Clark Kent's neon-accented "112" colorway has graced everything from Air Max runners to LeBron's signature joints, but there's nothing more appropriate than an Air Force 1. Wear your kicks.
