After one of the biggest release weekends in recent memory, we're learning of yet another sneaker-related violence incident. In Greensoro, N.C., a man had planned to meet with a group of three men — red flag, anyone? —to sell an unnamed pair of sneakers only to be shot, Fox 8reports.
It all went down around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, and the victim was robbed of his shoes as well as his phone. The victim is now in a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while police continue to investigate.
Moral of this story? If you're approaching a meet-up spot and see a group of three dudes, just turn the other way and keep it moving.
