Italy's Best Sneaker Store Is Working With Diadora, Because of Course

From Italy, with love.

Diadora's heritage revival has been going strong for awhile now, with a number of excellent collaborations as well as O.G.-styleinline releases. Surprisingly, one thing we've yet to see during this retro run is a joint project with Diadora's fellow Italians Slam Jam, but that all changes later this week.

Today, Slam Jam officially unveiled the Diadora V.7000 "Yvan." The inspiration for this sneaker actually comes from the U.S. Navy, which is made apparent by its navy blue mesh and pigskin upper along with the typeface used at the heel and tongue branding. Elsewhere, a set of two-tone laces adds a bit of flair to the otherwise subtle palette while a white midsole caps the look off.

Slam Jam has promised further information on this collaboration in the coming days, but for now, we know that it's dropping on October 23 at 5 p.m. CEST, which will actually be 11 a.m. EST for those of you in the States. Check back for more soon.
