Although Virgil Abloh's Off-White x Nike collaboration has included performance-based models like the React Hyperdunk 2017 and Zoom Fly, even those sneakers were stripped down to match the deconstructed theme of "The Ten" collection. But for one of Abloh's next releases, he's taking it to the pitch for a fully-functional soccer cleat.

Previewed at the top of the month, the Off-White x Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 was officially unveiled today. For this version of the cleat, which uses Nike's new 360-degree Flyknit tech, Abloh stuck with the Mercurial Vapor's standard orange colorway and added to the design by placing dots throughout the upper to represent ideal zones for players to make contact with the ball.

"I was interested in bridging the gap between foot and eye coordination. All the dots on the boot represent an optimal place to strike the ball," Abloh said in a press release.

The Off-White x Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 will make its on-pitch debut Saturday, March 31, when Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappé wears it against Monaco. The cleats will be released online exclusively from nike.com the same day, although a retail price has not been announced.

Meanwhile, Abloh's new Off-White x Nike Air VaporMax is arriving Friday, March 30.
