These O.G. Nike Air Max Classic BWs Are Dropping for Air Max Day 2016

The "Persian Violet" Nike Air Max Classic BWs now have a confirmed release date, and it couldn't be more fitting.

Sneakers.fr is reporting that this O.G. colorway is lined up for an Air Max Day 2016 release. Previously, Nike has used Air Max Day to launch a commemorative Air Max 1 colorway in 2014 and more recently, bring one of Tinker Hatfield's original sketches to live with the Air Max Zero in 2015.

This year, it looks like the brand will be returning to its roots with this original make up, but we wouldn't be surprised if this is just one of many releases that Nike has on deck for the big day. For now, we can confirm that these "Persian" Air Max Classic BWs will be dropping on March 26. Stay tuned to find out what else Nike has in store for Air Max Day 2016.
