The release of Madden NFL '19 is still a little over a month away, but football fans already have plenty to talk about after EA Sports announced seven players would boast the coveted 99 overall rating—the most in franchise history. Among them are three Swoosh representatives (Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski, and Luke Kuechly), and Nike is celebrating the digital achievement with custom cleats.
Each cleat uses a white base with gold plates and details and black Swooshes. Player names are printed across the lateral sides, along with imagery of each athlete's celebration pose. Elsewhere, each cleat includes personalized references such as A.B.'s "chest up eyes up prayed up" motto.
Don't count on these cleats releasing to the public, but Madden NFL '19 will release on all platforms on August 10.
