Kicks of the Day: BWGH x Puma R698 "Dark Denim"

Late last year, we gave you a first look at BWGH and Puma's latest collaborative effort featuring the R698 silhouette. Now, the sneakers are beginning to show up on shelves.

The BWGH x Puma R698 "Dark Denim" is reminiscent of previous drops like the "Bluefield" R698 in that it uses a navy based upper and white midsole, but this is hardly a rehash. The navy upper is built with mesh and nubuck overlays, and includes the chenille branding you've come to expect from BWGH collabs. The heel is offset with a peach and grey wrap, while marled laces add further contrast to the blue base.
