The Air Jordan VI's history is well-documented, but there's one variation of the Tinker Hatfield-designed sneaker that's so rare, many 'heads don't even know it exists.
Designed as a prop for 1992's Batman Returns, this hybrid Air Jordan VI-meets-combat boot was worn by star Michael Keaton as he glided throughout Gotham. Through the years, these rare VIs have been spotted in various forms on the Internet, but there haven't been many chances to actually cop them — until now.
The menacing VIs recently popped up on eBay complete with Keaton's signature. Unfortunately, time hasn't been very kind to this particular pair, with clear signs of age showing throughout the boot's upper, but it's not like you were going to wear them anyway. It's also worth noting that this auction is only for one boot, not a complete pair.
These would be a centerpiece in any collection, so take advantage while you have a chance. The current bid is at $335 and they can be found here.
