At Paris Fashion Week, adidas Originals debuted a strong lineup of 2016 Tubular models that included the Tubular X. With an undeniably Yeezy-like notched midsole and its defining 'X' support strap, the Tubular X was one of the most promising silhouettes we saw. With the release still in the distant future, adidas may have found a way to make the sneaker even better.
Previewed by Hypebeast, the adidas Tubular X Primeknit works around the same design as the standard Tubular X but swaps its nylon base for a snakeskin-patterned knitted construction. Also absent are the fused toe support and synthetic heel clip, allowing this Primeknit version to offer a more natural ride.
Like the other models found in adidas' Spring/Summer 2016 lineup, these are still months away, but it doesn't hurt to start saving now. Check out another look below courtesy of Highsnobiety.
