After a slow start to sneaker releases in 2017, this weekend sets the table for what will undoubtedly be a big year in sneaker releases.
The weekend starts earlier this week with one of the most anticipated releases of the year dropping on Wednesday with the release of the Nike Air Zoom Generation Retro "First Game," Nike and LeBron's first ever retro release.
Heading into Thursday, Nike is dropping three colorways of the Stone Island designed Sock Dart Mid and adidas is kicking off what will be a huge year of the EQT with a robust slate of modern-day upgraded EQT sneakers.
On Friday, Nike is celebrating Chinese New Year with the Nike Flyknit Racer "Fire Rooster."
Saturday will play host to several key releases which will includes the "Disruptor" adidas Harden Vol. 1 and the "Aunt Pearl" Nike KD 9. Adidas is returns on Saturday with two releases from its Consortium Sneaker Exchange done in collaboration with Colette and UNDFTD. Jordan is holding down its Saturday spot in big way with the Air Jordan 8 Retro "Take Flight" and the "CNY" pack which features two Air Jordan 12 Retros and an Air Jordan XXX1.
