Have you ever wondered what your car would look like if was designed using inspiration from your favorite pair of kicks? Well, if the ASICS GEL-Lyte III is your favorite silhouette, wonder no more.
In a photo posted on Instagram by user sneakerb0b at the Sneakerness Salon convention in Paris, a 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata is on display that mimics the appearance of the AFEW x ASICS GEL Lyte III "Koi" collaboration which released earlier this summer. Wrapping vehicles with custom graphics and different colors is nothing new, but could this start a trend of cars decked out in sneaker themed wraps? Imagine a Foamposite x Dodge Charger or a Air Max 95 x Honda Accord. All it takes is a few passionate sneaker and car 'heads and we could start seeing these types of whips driving down the street.
