adidas Originals Celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the Micropacer

Falling in the category of things that were ahead of its time, the adidas Micropacer was exactly that.

Originally released in 1984, the shoe featured a futuristic "Metallic Silver" colorway and a microprocessor that measured things like distance traveled and calories burned, the shoe became a favorite amongst collectors and runners. The legend of the Micropacer has only grown and adidas Originals will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the venerated shoe with a true, one to one retro. Slated for release on August 16, the Micropacer will have many long time sneakerheads reminiscing and a new generation of heads coveting.
