Hopefully, you have all of your holiday gifts wrapped and ready by now, but if you're proscrastinating then there are some great sneakers dropping this week worth considering.
Things kick off on Tuesday with the arrival of the "Frozen Blue" Adidas Yeezy QNTM and "Varsity Purple" Women's Nike Dunk High. On Christmas Eve, Nike reintroduces the "Grinch" Kobe 6 Protro almost 10 years to the day after its debut, and Reebok releases a Kamikaze 2 designed by Montrezl Harrell. The scarce week of releases concludes on Saturday with the "Be@rbrick" Medicom x Nike SB Blazer Low and "Varsity Red" Air Jordan 12.

Adidas Yeezy QNTM 'Frozen Blue'

What You Need to Know: Kanye West and Adidas are dropping off one more colorway of the Yeezy QNTM before 2020 comes to a close. The "Frozen Blue" version of the lifestyle basketball shoe is largely similar to the original colorway that debuted this past February in Chicago during NBA All-Star Weekend, but accentuates the upper with bright blue detailing. Other elements include a cream suede toe, black neoprene bootie, black ankle collar, reflective heel, and Boost cushioning in the midsole.
Women's Nike Dunk High 'Varsity Purple'

What You Need to Know: The latest Dunk High slated to hit retailers is the women's exclusive "Varsity Purple" colorway. The pair initially released back in 1999 exclusively in Japan. The purple and white leather upper is accented by purple satin laces, a matching liner, and purple-tinted translucent outsole.
Nike Kobe 6 Protro 'Grinch'

When: Thursday, Dec. 24 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: One of the most beloved Kobe sneakers of all time gets its first retro release on Christmas Eve. The "Grinch" colorway marks the first Protro drop of the Kobe 6. This scaly, bright green upper with red accents is inspired by the iconic Christmas character, the Grinch. The pair orignally released on Christmas Day in 2010, the same day that Kobe Bryant laced them up on the court for a matchup against LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
Reebok Kamikaze 2 'Montrezl Harrell'

What You Need to Know: Reebok has tapped reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year, Montrezl Harrell, to craft his own colorway of Shawn Kemp's Kamikaze 2. The pair features a pink suede upper with green and purple overlays. While the official inspiration has not been announced just yet, I cannot help but think of Patrick Star or Piccolo from Dragon Ball Z when I look at it. The Foot Locker exclusive will be one of the final drops from the retailer's 12 Days of Greatness campaign.
Medicom x Nike SB Blazer Low 'Be@rbrick'

When: Saturday, Dec. 26 at 10 a.m.
Where: Nike SNKRS and other select retailers
What You Need to Know: Medicom adds to its collection of Nike SB collabs with the "Be@rbrick" Blazer Low. The pair is covered in cream faux fur with a black faux fur heel tab. The material choice is inspired by an Air Force 1 collab released by Medicom back in 2010. The shoe is completed with Be@rbrick logos on the tongue and lateral heel, as well as a collage of Be@rbrick toy silhouettes covering each insole.
Air Jordan 12 'Varsity Red'

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand has flipped the "Flu Game" Air Jordan 12 to create the brand new "Varsity Red" colorway. This pair features a red suede upper with a black faux lizard overlay. Jordan collectors might also liken this variation of the 12 to 2009's "Raging Bull" Air Jordan 5.
