Nike SB Finally Released a Stefan Janoski Sequel

Pro skater Stefan Janoski's eponymous signature sneaker is one of the most popular sneakers in the sub-brand's catalog. First making its debut in 2009, the simplistic low-top would go on to receive multiple limited colorways and re-toolings over the years. Now a few years removed from the peak of its popularity, Nike SB has finally released a sequel to the skate model.

The Air Max Janoski 2 is very similar in design to the Janoski Max. A sock-like textile upper sits atop foam midsole with a visible Air Max unit loaded in the heel for extra comfort. Minimal branding hits come in the form of embroidered Swooshes on each side panel and the Janoski's usual tongue tag. A black color scheme and white option with gum bottoms will help debut the model.

Releasing alongside both toned-down colorways is a premium iteration with a few minor design tweaks. This pair sports a woodland camouflage canvas upper and olive green side panels with black Swoosh branding. A heightened elastic ankle collar completes the design. The Janoski tag has also been moved to the lateral portion of the ankle collar rather than the tongue.

All three pairs are currently available on nike.com. The base model retails at $110, while the premium version gets a price bump to $120. Check out official images of the trio below.
