For its latest collection of Air Max 1s, Nike has flipped the iconic retro runner inside out. The result is a deconstructed look similar to the popular work of frequent collaborator Virgil Abloh.
Two colorways make up the upcoming "Inside Out" pack. As the name suggests, the upper of each has been flipped. The result is details like excess material hanging over seams, stitching on the forefoot and ankle collar, and the underside of materials being showcased rather than hidden. Finishing touches include inverted Nike Air branding stitched on the heel tab and the size tag sewn onto the outer portion of the tongue.Â
The design will be offered in a light grey color scheme with white, cream, and black detailing. The other option opts for a combination of yellow, cream, and red. An exact release date and pricing have yet to be revealed for the Nike Air Max 1 "Inside Out" collection, but take a closer look at both pairs below.
