Big Baller Brand Is Making $200 Sneakers Now
Big Baller Brand has revealed the first images and price point of Lonzo Ball's second signature sneaker the ZO2.19, which retails for $200.
For better or worse, Big Baller Brand dominated the news cycle last year with the loud antics of the brand's founder, Lavar Ball and his three NBA-destined sons. His oldest, Lonzo Ball, was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers last year and debuted his first signature sneaker, the ZO2 Remix, which retailed for the less-than-palatable price of $495.
Now just days into his sophomore season with the purple and gold his second signature sneaker, the Z02.19 is available for pre-order for less than half of its predecessor's price point at $200.
The sneaker features a variety of new improvements like a forefoot strap made from a full grain nappa leather and suede hits on the upper and toe box. Other elements like the mesh upper and a midsole that claims to be "40 percent better than EVA foam" separate the sneaker from its previous iteration, according to Slam.
The sneaker is now available for pre-order in three different colorways at bigballerbrand.com. Check out below for more detailed images of the new silhouette.
