Since they first released in 2009, the Nike Air Yeezy has been the center of sneaker hype and a part of the fanfare that has surrounds Kanye West's career. Kanye is no longer with Nike, but his two signature sneakers, The Air Yeezy 1 and 2, are still hunted down by sneaker collectors and hip-hop fans across the globe. And a lot of them are sold on eBay.
To find out how much cash people are willing to dish out for a pair of Yeezys—excluding the $98k offered for a signed pair of Red Octobers—we got in touch with Josh Luber of Campless, a sneaker data blog, and had him compile Air Yeezy sales numbers on eBay from the past year.
Luber tried his best to get accurate numbers on the Red October's resale value on eBay, but he admits it's tough to weed out the fake pairs sold on the website, so he notes the figures for that colorway may be somewhat skewed.
