adidas' new XENO innovation is back to highlight another ZX Flux.
The game-changing technology, which responds to shifts in light by reflecting bursts of iridescent colors, has been integrated onto a new "Light Onix" colorway of the adidas runner. Like the debut iteration, this upcoming style uses a snakeskin upper, but is significantly more low key with the XENO effect. Instead of its entire upper reflecting the vibrant colors, only the Three Stripes branding on the medial and lateral sides actually shimmer. The rest of the sneaker is made up of a neutral grey/white color scheme, helping set off the minimal use of reflective material.
No official word yet on an exact release date, but international store Afew indicates a June launch.
