Back in April, Jordan Brand officially debuted the Air Jordan XX9, marking the latest model in the historic run of the Jumpman franchise. The model is different from any other Jordan we've seen in the past, and now good news has surfaced as it's just been announced that the XX9 are scheduled to hit shelves sooner then expected.

The Air Jordan XX9 "Team Orange" features a fully woven upper, similar to those found on the Jordan Future, but is built for optimal performance on the court. The upper allows for players to feel like each sneaker was specifically tailored to their foot, as the woven free forms naturally to the contours of each individual foot. The team at Jumpman also reimagined the FlightPlate, which first debuted on the Jordan XX8, and is now built to harnesses the energy of every step and repurposes it for maximum energy return, as well as offer a high level of responsiveness and a smoother heel-to-toe transition. The shoes we're thought to release right around the 2015 NBA All-Star break, but have since been pushed up to kick off the basketball season this year.

The Jordan XX9 "Team Orange" is now scheduled to drop to start off the season September 9, for a suggested retail of $225.
