The Philadelphia Phillies won’t be the only MLB team that has inspired an upcoming Nike SB Dunk makeup.
Joining the Phillies-colored SB Dunk Low is this New York Mets-inspired SB Dunk High, pictured here via of @Solebyjc on Instagram. Like the Phillies-inspired makeup, there are no official markings or logos on the sneaker linking it to the Mets.
Still, the shoe dons the team’s signature color combination of blue and orange on the Swoosh branding and tongue tag. Further connecting it to the Mets is the 7 subway line to Citi Field behind the right tongue and a graphic of the “Big Apple” on the left pair. Capping off the look is a white midsole and a gum outsole with a pink bubblegum-inspired accent on the heel, a detail also seen on the “Phillies” version.
Despite an early look from Solebyjc, release details for this Mets-inspired Nike SB Dunk High have not yet been announced by the brand. Check back soon to Sole Collector for official updates in the coming months.
UPDATE (03/31): Official Nike product images of the Mets-inspired SB Dunk High have surfaced. As of now, the brand has yet to share any release info for the shoe but stay tuned for official updates.
UPDATE (06/30): Per SNKRS, the “Mets” Nike SB Dunk High will release on July 14 for $125.
