The start of the 2016-17 NFL season on Thursday night will feature one of the craziest footwear choices we've ever seen in the league: Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller is planning to take to the gridiron in a Yeezy football cleat.
The model is not an entirely new silhouette, but rather a cleated version of the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost. In his tweet showing off the wild design, Miller gives thanks to Kanye West and adidas in a move that suggests this isn't just some custom.
Miller and the Broncos will face off against the Carolina Panthers tonight at 8:30 EST.
Adidas is planning to expand the reach of the West's Yeezy line to include more performance models soon, with adidas Yeezy basketball shoes apparently slated to release in early 2017.
