Nike doesn't have too many sneakers celebrating Mother's Day this year, but there is this HyperRev creation made for Skylar Diggins of the Dallas Wings. The shoe honors her mom Renee with personal details appearing on its straps, seen in the imagery below.
"Growing up, my mom was my biggest role model – the biggest influence that I had," Diggins said of the project's inspiration in a quick story via Nike. "She showed me the epitome of what I wanted to be as a woman when I grew up, and showed me what hard work was like."
This Skylar Diggins player edition pair of the Nike Zoom HyperRev 2016 will be releasing at retail. The sneakers will be available in limited quantities on May 7.
