The Seattle Seahawks are one of the teams in the NFL more spoiled by Nike, the squad being the closest geographically to the sportswear giant's headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. On top of that, quarterback Russell Wilson signed back with Nike in January, so it only makes sense that he would get his own shoes with the brand.
He isn't getting a full-on signature model on the level of Victor Cruz, but rather a player edition-style release of an existing model. On Wednesday, Nike released the Free Train Force Flyknit pair shown here in a Seahawks "Dangeruss Wilson" colorway. While the model doesn't actually call out Wilson by name, the kids' version makes room for him on its tongue.
