Flyknit Appears on Cult Classic Nike Runner

Almost 10 years later.

It looks like Nike is planning a tech update to go with this year's Nike Air Zoom Spiridon reissue.

Appearing for the first time on Instagram today is the above sneaker, which takes the Spiridon sole and pairs it with a modern Flyknit-construced upper.

That upper actually doesn't look much like the Spiridon's, so the shoe feels more like something in the vein of the Air Footscape Magista than the Air Presto Flyknit. There's a sock-like collar, asymmetrical lacing, and a vamp Swoosh, all of which give it a more contemporary feel.

For now, there's no sneaker release date information on this Flyknit-equipped Spiridon successor.
