Of all the KD 8 colorways seen so far, the upcoming KD 8 "Suit" is the most modern with respect to its inspiration.
While other designs look to Durant's childhood for stories and themes, this one turns to a more recent occurrence — his tear-jerking MVP speech. More specifically, the sneakers are inspired by the eggplant-colored suit that Durant wore that night.
The sneaker release date for the KD 8 "Suit" is Aug. 14.
