Nike's not doing retro Air Yeezys anytime soon, but it's damn sure going to water down Kanye West's aesthetic and keep selling it to sneakerheads.
Case in point: the Nike Air Entertrainer, a hilariously named sneaker that borrows its ribbed heel and Swoosh placement from the Air Yeezy 2. The design itself perhaps isn't derivative enough to call it a riff on West's work, but the name here sure makes this one feel like a troll move.
Nike even went ahead and created a "Red October" style colorway for the sneaker.
The black Nike Air Entertrainer is available now via Oneness – no sign of the red pair just yet.
