Nike Rebuilds One of Its Best Flyknits

The Nike Flyknit Racer will evolve this summer via a hybrid silhouette that blends in some DNA of Nike's Air Mariah. The new shoe, called the Nike Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit Racer, is set to release in August.

Despite the model name, there aren't too many visible references to the Mariah, perhaps the most prominent being the tooling that lands somewhere between the Flyknit Racer's and the Air Mariah's.

The Air Mariah is an old-school racing flat from Nike that first released in 1990.

Nike hasn't announced this model yet, but German retailer Inflammable has a handful of colorways listed as "coming soon" on its website.
