On Thursday, October 27th, San Francisco's adidas Originals Store hosted an event to celebrate the launch of the adidas Originals x Need for Speed: The Run collaboration. Along with a similar gathering in Chicago, the event marked the official release of the limited edition Need for Speed: The Run Top X shoe, which was limited to just 100 pairs - 50 at each event.
Fans and media types were given the opportunity to grab the limited edition shoes and get an early hands-on feel for the Need for Speed: The Run game. Cars from the game, like one of the only Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4s in North America were on display. Both events featured live street art installations from the Mull Crew and attendees were treated to performances by DJ Neil Armstrong, DJ Mick Boogie and Chicago natives Kids These Days.
