After receiving a signature cleat and logo, it now appears Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will be lacing up his own adidas training shoe.
Below is a look at the unnamed sneaker, a mid-top harnessed by a classic cross-strap for support. What really stands out in these early photos is the presence of Boost, adidas' award-winning cushioning system that's being carried over to additional categories next season. Other highlights on the shoe include 'RGIII' printed above the toebox, 3-Stripe branding wrapping the heel and RG3's signature stitched to the backside of the tongue.
As of now, there are no concrete details about this apparent RG3 signature trainer or a release date. Let us know what you think about the new shoe below and we'll continue to keep you posted.
