Over the past year, Nike Basketball has used a few colorways of the Kyrie 3 to pay homage to classic sneakers of the past. The "Kyraches" were a nod to the Air Huarache Light, while the "Mamba Mentality" make-up was inspired by the "Bruce Lee" Kobe 5. In tonight's game against the Sacramento Kings, Irving debuted his latest Kyrie 3 tribute.
The All-Star point guard took the court in a pair that pulls its look from the "Raygun" Nike SB Dunk Low, a 2005 release that remains one of the most collectible pairs from that era. Nike hasn't made an announcement, but considering the aforementioned pattern, an eventual retail release wouldn't be surprising. Keep it locked for updates.
Update 01/02: The "Raygun" Nike Kyrie will be releasing at Sneakeasy Boston on Thursday, Jan. 4 for a retail price of $120.
