Penny Hardaway's White Foamposite PEs Are Finally Being Released

Penny Hardaway's white Nike Air Foamposite One PE from 1996, an exclusive previously unreleased to the public, will finally be making its way to retail in 2023.

With the long-awaited retro of the “Home” Nike Air Max Penny 1 finally in stores comes news of another white-based Penny sneaker being prepped for retail.

Sneaker Files reports that the previously unreleased “Home” Air Foamposite One PE worn by Hardaway during the 1996-97 season will finally be available to the public. While this particular version had never been released, Nike did launch a star-printed variation of the shoe dubbed “Shooting Stars” in 2014, taking inspiration from a PE worn by Penny during All-Star Weekend in 2012. It’s believed that the upcoming release will closely resemble the original exclusives.

Look for Penny’s Foamposite PE to release sometime next year for $240 at Nike Sportswear retailers.

UPDATE (03/20): Nike has officially confirmed that the “Penny PE” Air Foamposite One will be released via SNKRS on April 7 for $240. Grab a closer look at the sneaker below.
