The NBA season is nearing its end, but there's still a few weeks left for players to make final impressions before we crown a #SoleWatch king.
It was a busy week for LeBron James, who unveiled three different #LeBronWatch LeBron 15 colorways, two of which he wore on the court. Last weekend, James got an early start on the Air Max Day celebration by lacing up his "Air Max 95" LeBron 15s in Brooklyn. A few days later, he followed up by breaking out a Player Exclusive "South Beach" LeBron 15 for a trip back to Miami. His Griffey-inspired colorway leaked later in the week, but he didn't wear the shoes and Nike quickly removed the pair from its SNKRS app. Expect an official rollout sometime this week.
Elsewhere, we're seeing a lot of young players pay homage to all-time franchise greats with their sneaker selections. Like James, Cavs guard Jordan Clarkson went "South Beach" for Tuesday's game shoes, bringing back the LeBron 9 P.S. Elite. Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma dusted off the "MVP" Nike Zoom Kobe 3, while Patrick McCaw took the court in the "Scoring Title" Nike KD 4. This is a fun trend to watch as the NBA's current guard ages and new stars are emerging.
