It's the image you thought you'd never see. Dwyane Wayne hitting a clutch bucket and gesturing toward the home fans, but not in his Miami Heat uniform.
After 13 seasons in South Beach, Wade made his Chicago Bulls regular season debut against the Boston Celtics last night. In the closing seconds, with the Bulls nursing a narrow 2-point lead, Wade came up with a clutch bucket to ice the game—just as we've come to expect over the years. He finished with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists in the Bulls' 105-99 victory.
Wade began his new chapter in the "Coming Home" Li-Ning Way of Wade 5. The all-red sneakers release this Saturday at wayofwade.com.
