This month, ASICS has released the GT-1000 running shoe in a special "Pink Ribbon" colorway. The shoe is part of ASICS' partnership with Christina Applegate's Right Action for Women, a charitable services fund of the Entertainment Industry Foundation that provides assistance to women who are at an increased risk for breast cancer.
During October, proceeds from sales of the GT-1000PR will be donated to Right Action for Women, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $75,000 up to $100,000.
Featuring a Pink/Black/White scheme, the GT-1000 PR sports a breathable, seamless and ultra-lightweight synthetic and mesh upper. A DuoMax midsole system is positioned to enhance support and stability. Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbons adorn the heels and insoles of each shoe.
You can buy the ASICS GT-1000 PR for $100 in men's and women's sizing at retailers like Eastbay and Dick's Sporting Goods today.
