Michael Finley's relationship with the Jordan Brand extends all the back to 1997, when he was one of the members of the original Jordan Brand lineup and wore the Jordan Team 1 during the later stages of the season. Finley continued to represent the Jumpman on the court until he announced his retirement after the 2010 Finals. In between, "Fin Dog" laced up this rarely seen Player Exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan XIX back in 2004.
Finley's kicks of choice between 2004 and 2005 mainly consisted of the "Flint" Air Jordan XIX and a PE version of the Air Jordan XIX SE, so this pair doesn't show up too often. The simple-blocked shoe features a white leather upper with dark blue patent working the toebox and trim around the Tech-Flex overlay. Metallic silver takes care of Jumpman branding on the heel, while blue handles the inner liner, ankle Jumpman branding, outsole and "FIN-4" embroidery on the straps.
