There are many classic Air Jordans, but only one has the distinction of being Michael Jordan’s first championship shoe.

Perhaps for that reason, Jordan Brand has been more selective with the Air Jordan 6 than they have been with other models since its 1991 launch. Only 26 different styles (including lows) have been released, with 6 new colorways introduced last year alone. To put that number in perspective, there’s almost as many sample pairs that never made it to production, 20 of which are listed below.
