Like last year, the Jordan Brand will commemorate their sponsored basketball tournament in France with the release of special footwear. The 2010 Quai 54 Collection consisted of corresponding colorways of the Air Jordan Retro 9. This year's set is made up of the Air Jordan Retro 5 and debuting Team ISO 2.
As we've already seen, the "Quai 54" Retro 5 features a white tumbled leather upper with black, metallic silver and radiant green accents. The Team ISO 2, which we're seeing for the first time, is black-based with cement grey and radiant green detailing.
For those looking forward to these releases, we're finally hearing more about the official release. With the event also being sponsored by Foot Locker, these sneakers will be exclusive to Foot Locker and House of Hoops locations. For our European readers, they're available as early as today.
Foot Lockers and House of Hoops in Paris have started selling the "Quai 54" shoes today, while the rest of the Europe will officially release them on Monday. House of Hoops Paris, London, Barcelona and Rotterdam will all be carrying these kicks, as well as Foot Locker UK and 125 Foot Locker stores throughout Europe. So, if you're in Europe, you should probably be making some calls.
U.S. sneakerheads, be patient. The word is that they'll pop up at House of Hoops locations stateside on July 2nd.
As for the tournament itself, qualification rounds begin tomorrow, with the actual tournament being played on the 25th and 26th.
