For the Air Jordan 31, Tate Kuerbis and the design team implemented elements of the Air Jordan 1 in an effort to imagine what the original model would have looked like had it launched present day. It appears that same concept has been applied to the Air Jordan 32.
Swish.Supply claims this is a teaser shot of the new flagship Air Jordan model, and there's evidence to suggest that claim is correct. There's several Air Jordan 2-inspired cues worked into the model, including python-textured paneling, folded trim lines, ribbed collar and heel and the positioning of the Wings logo on the tongue. Again, this isn't confirmed, but signs point to this shoe being the next Air Jordan.
Furthermore, while the Air Jordan 32 will have a heavy presence in 2018, the new model is expected to launch a lot sooner. A black and red "MJ Day" colorway, possibly pictured here, will release on Wednesday, Oct. 18—the anniversary of the day that Michael Jordan reportedly first violated the NBA's policy on sneakers in 1984. Retail will be $185.
