The Air Jordan 2 'H' Wings Releases Next Week
Honoring Jordan Brand VP Howard 'H' White.
The Wings Foundation, an organization that advocates for equal educational opportunities, is being highlighted again by Jordan Brand through a unique Air Jordan retro colorway. This time, the Air Jordan 2 is the selected silhouette.
The Wings Foundation Air Jordan 2 seems to be linked to Howard "H" White, who is Michael Jordan's trusted associate and the Vice President of Jordan Brand. 'H' can be seen on the insoles and under the translucent heel overlay. The colorway of the shoe may be a tribute to Kecoughtan High School, where White graduated in 1969. To match the theme, wing graphics decorate the lateral wings on both sides of the shoe.
White co-founded the Wings Foundation and has been instrumental in its growth over the years.
According to Sole Retriever, the "Wings" Air Jordan 2 WF will release on Saturday, June 10 for $210.
UPDATE (06/01): Jordan Brand has officially confirmed that the "H" Wings Air Jordan 2 honoring the brand's VP will be released on June 10 via SNKRS.
