It has been almost a decade since this site has updated and if you were old enough to appreciate sneakers then odds are you were on your Dell checking out 5th-Dimenstion for all the latest Nike SB Dunk news. The SB hype hasn't been the same since.

Japanese style sites and magazines have been around longer than you know, they actually helped inspire your favorite publications (like Complex). Being Hunted was one of the first and best – reppin' the streets since '01 in the highest regard possible. You can actually check out their archives here.

We already told you that this dude is one of the best "re-sellers" in the game and before he was slangin' strictly on Instagram he had a Wordpress you could troll for hours helping build your knowledge on what every sneaker in the world looks like and marvelling over his seemingly endless stash.

Chris Lee has been one of the best streetwear and sneaker personalities since he jumped on the scene. His knowledge about skate sneakers rang out on his site, that’s why we called on him to help break down the 50 Best Nike SB Dunks of All-Time. CtotheJL.com might be down for now, but we have a feeling that C. Lee has something new and innovative up his sleeve for us soon.

Damn, has it already been six years since Fixins last updated? The site's layout and content was always strong, giving readers a unique experience every time. Even trolling the site now it's evident that they had an influence on a lot of current-day pages.

Don't count the kid out yet, he might make a comeback but for now one of the best sneaker sites is just a memory. Back in the day this was one of the best spots to find rare gems, info you would have never known otherwise, and the info on the Bay Area Sneaker Summit. Before it was overrun with people trying to make money off of "events," Retrokid seemed to bring together the Bay Area sneaker community better than anyone.

Hazard Shoes was always celebrated on forums like Nike Talk and was actually one of the first sites that helped sneaker consumers help ID possible fraud in terms of "variants" — fake kicks. With all the shady pre-order sites and spots trying to duplicate Yeezy IIs, we would be glad to see this site make its way back.

Jersey Joe was another NikeTalk OG that had his own website. Back when people were freaking out about "Y2K" problems, Joe was showing off rare sneakers ranging from samples and exclusives to game-worn heat. And remember, this was before people even knew much about samples. Jersey Joe also had some serious sports memorabilia back then as well — he was your one-stop shop for all things Mitchell & Ness. What, you think he just got his name because he was from New Jersey?

"The study of phat kicks for your balling pleasure." The mission statement was the truth and they always represented well with the most in-depth performance basketball shoe reviews of both new releases and retro classics. Also, Professor K took the best sneaker photos anyone ever took in his or her bathroom.

Another site that existed before some of you even donned a pair of kicks from The Swoosh — Nike Park was famous for always having the greatest photo archives and sneaker content. Before social media (and even before NikeTalk), this was the spot to know when to start checking for the best shoes at retail spots. It was all so simple.
