It was another landmark year for A Ma Maniére, which made noise with two significant Air Jordan collaborations. The AMM x Air Jordan 3 took the top spot on Complex’s Best Air Jordans of 2021 list and will likely be strongly positioned when the overall list drops. More recently, AMM dropped its Air Jordan 1 High, which has been well-received as well. It appears that the boutique’s momentum will carry into the new year with another opportunity to rework an early Air Jordan model.
zSneakerheadz reports that an A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 2 collaboration is in the works. Images of the shoe have not yet leaked, but the colorway description of sail, black, and burgundy is consistent with the AMM x Air Jordan 1. The supplied mock-up serves merely as a visual aid for what the shoe could look like, but we can probably expect the usual AMM addition of luxury details and materials when the shoe surfaces.
Jordan Brand is in the midst of a big Jordan 2 push, giving energy to perhaps the most overlooked model Jordan wore as a member of the Chicago Bulls. Following the work that Vashtie and Don C did on the model in the past, the late Virgil Abloh recently gave the shoe an Off-White remix, while Union Los Angeles and J Balvin have their own pairs on the way.
The AMM x Air Jordan 2 is penciled in for an April 29 release. We’ll update you with a first look at the collab when it’s available.
UPDATE (04/25): After months of anticipation, A Ma Maniére has officially confirmed today on Instagram that its “Airness” Air Jordan 2 collab will be released on May 13 exclusively at a-ma-maniere.com and at A Ma Maniére stores.

UPDATE (05/20): After initially scheduled to drop last week, A Ma Maniére has confirmed that its “Airness’ Air Jordan 2 collab and its accompanying apparel collection will now release on June 1 at Amamaniere.com for $225.
UPDATE (05/27): In addition to releasing at A Ma Maniére on June 1, Nike has confirmed on SNKRS today that select users of the app who missed out on prior A Ma Maniére drops will be granted exclusive access to the Air Jordan 2 collab on June 3.
